MERI:
Today was our free day! :D
Haha, I spent the morning practising piano (was really effective yay :D), after which we (Shaohui and Kaz :D) went to the Edo-Tokyo Museum (which was really big!)

Really cloudy day!! (Probably because of the fireworks yesterday? xD)
While I was practising piano, Olivia, Mohan and Shaohui went to the Imperial Palace. Olivia helped me take this photo and told me the context: The turtle in the middle of the food had actually climbed on top of the fishes and into the box! 0.o So clever! xD

Automated drink machine with a touch screen :o Really high tech!

The outside of the Edo-Tokyo Museum.
It's a really big building with a large berth around it, making it seem really grand!

Our entrance tickets! (Kaz - Top Left, Shaohui - Top Right, Me - Bottom)
This escalator is super cool! Probably because it's a really long one, there is a flat portion in the middle of it!!

One of the many photos I took in the museum, this one really caught my eye because it's such a tiny pillow! I was joking with Kaz that the person sleeping on it would only be able to sleep in one position lol! xD

The mosquitoes here are bigger but less discreet haha!
Washed my clothes today! The dryer wasn't very effective so........

My contraption in the hotel room (y) but I found that it wasn't so efficient because I had to change the position of the clothes quite frequently... I later tried to change the method but ended up melting my plastic ruler :( heh! Note: Plastic rulers can only withstand heat that your hand can take...

OLIVIA:
FINAL EXAMS ARE OVER!!! HUZZAH
Today is Sunday and our break day. In the morning I accompany Meri to Ginza so that she can find a suitable place and practise piano. Ginza is a place with lots of high end shops. A local tells me that it is 1-2 million yen per square foot, yowza! On Sundays, the road is closed to cars and the pedestrians are free to saunter around, as we do.

While waiting for Meri, I found a swan and we became fast friends. You may call him Bob.

I also had a soy strawberry frappe and it was suuuuuuu gud c: I also love Starbucks for their free WiFi, heh!
Here is Meri after playing on the piano and excited about being able to walk on the road like a boss.

Then, I bid my fellow travellers goodbye.....

....And my Japanese friend brings me for a scrumptious meal of ramen! Ajitama (the egg) is the most delicious nuggy egg ever. Imagine a soft, tasty, seasony brown egg. Bite into it and golden-yellow yolky goodness flows out. It floods your tastebuds with delicious sensations. But that's not all. Now take in a spoonful of ramen stock brewed to perfection with love... and you are now in eggy paradise! Mmmmm.

SHAUN:
Sunday!!! Finally it's our day off and we went crazy today. We went off to Harajuku Takeshia Street one of the shopping capital of Tokyo and of all the people in the world we ran in to Adam Lambert who was doing a tour here. Well, I will let the pictures do the rest of the talking.
