For Beginners - An Introduction to AI by SUTD

In an exciting era where technology advances at light speed, Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems are growing ever more present in our lives. Automatic recommendation systems help us find the best routes, decide which movie to watch, and what clothes to wear. How are these decisions made? How can you contribute to developing new AI technologies?

• Come discover our exciting research in AI and data science.
• Participate in hands-on tutorials conducted by SUTD’s Nvidia Deep Learning Institute ambassadors and delve into the inner workings of AI technologies.

The InitiAItion Workshop is open to all pre-university participants 
between 16 to 21 years old (NSF inclusive) ONLY.
Participants would need to bring their laptop for the workshop.

The SUTD AI Challenge

Apply what you've learned at our workshop to solve an urban city challenge, and stand to win exciting prizes.

• 17 Jan, 5pm - Release of the challenge details 
• 23 Jan, 12pm - Submission of entries 
• 25 Jan, 5pm - Shortlisted teams will be notified and invited to the onsite competition
• 30 Jan, 2pm to 5pm - Onsite competition where shortlisted teams will be presented with a new set of images to test. Each team to present their results to a panel of judges. The winning team will be selected based on the performance accuracy.
