2nd Design Education Summit

07 Aug 2020 Singapore

DesignSingapore Council, in partnership with the SUTD-MIT International Design Centre, presents the 2nd edition of the Design Education Summit

Note: In light of the COVID-19 situation, date and time of the event is to be confirmed.

The Design Education Summit is a one-day conference where international and local educators, and industry professionals can network and exchange ideas about the adoption of design in education. Learn from leading design practitioners and top educators as they share best practices in design education.

Call for Stories on the Transformation of Education through Design

As part of this year's summit, we are calling for submissions of design-related stories from educators and students, in both public and private education institutes from across the world. Selected educators and students will given an opportunity to present their work at the Design Education Summit.

EDUCATORS, do you have an interesting story about how design helped you address challenges and create new solutions for students and schools? For example, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused school closures worldwide and has now affected more than 1.5 billion students globally. Are there stories you would like to share about how you used design to reimagine education during and post-pandemic?

STUDENTS, tell us about how you and your school changed because of a design or innovation project. What about the COVID-19 virus pandemic? How has it affected your learning and what did you or your school do to adapt?

Closing date for submission: 7 August 2020

Submit your stories before 7 August
