SUTD Early Engagement and Development (SEED)

The SUTD Early Engagement and Development (SEED) programme is a newly-launched, year-long outreach and immersion programme for top JC1/Year 5 /Polytechnic Semester 3 students to learn more about SUTD and gain conditional admission, ahead of the regular admissions cycle.

With SEED, look forward to research opportunities and making a difference to our world, getting up close with Nobel Laureates and Pritzker Prize winners, and receiving exclusive invites to SUTD events.

Application is by invitation and nomination from your school.


  • Conditional offer
    Convert to firm offer based on final year results with no additional interview required*. In the event that actual results exceed expectations, the offer may be reviewed. ^Subject to terms and conditions

    *As a clerical necessity, students will still need to submit an official undergraduate application in your final year of study. You will also need to apply and compete for special programmes, if interested.

    Research Mentorship Programme or internships at research centres.

  • Register your interest: November 2021
  • Engage/Interview: December 2021 to January 2022
  • Conditional offer: End January 2022
  • Accept: By 15 February 2022
