*Note: For housing for Term 10 from Sep to Dec 2021, students will need to re-apply in July 2021. Students will be considered with other graduate applicants in the July 2021 housing exercise according to the graduate housing policy.

Check in/out dates for STEP students 

With the change in academic plans due to the COVID-19 situation, STEP students will be in Term 7 in January 2021. There are currently no plans for an undergraduate supplementary housing exercise in November 2020 as there are no vacancies for undergraduates.

M.Arch students who wish to apply for housing should note the following:

  • Residents are expected to stay for the full duration of the housing contract. Those who shorten or cancel their stay may be imposed cancellation charges.

  • ​Students who are due to be conferred before the end of the above housing period will have their housing end dates adjusted accordingly.
  • Students are to check-in and check-out during the dates/timing indicated above unless otherwise informed. Administrative fees may be applicable for check-in/check-out outside of the designated dates/times or outside of office hours.

  • Those who wish to check-in during the early check-in period are to email at least two weeks before the intended check-in date. Requests are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

  • Students moving in before the contract start date(s) will be charged accordingly for additional nights. Those checking in later than the contract start date are liable for the full student housing fees based on the housing contract unless otherwise informed.

  • Residents who wish to stay beyond the official check-out date are to email at least two weeks before the official check-out date. Requests are subject to availability.

  • Residents who fail to vacate their accommodation by the check-out date and time may be subject to disciplinary action by the University and are liable for late check-out charges/additional nightly charges at rates determined by the University. The Office of Housing will take appropriate measures to recover the room and/or apartment.
