PROF YEO KIAT SENG
Associate Provost, Research and International Relations
Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD)

Professor Yeo Kiat Seng received the B.Eng. (EE) in 1993, and Ph.D. (EE) in 1996 both from Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Associate Provost for Research and International Relations at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), Professor Yeo is a widely known authority in low-power RF/mm-wave IC design and a recognized expert in CMOS technology. Before his appointment at SUTD, he was Associate Chair (Research), Head of Division of Circuits and Systems, Sub-Dean (Student Affairs) and Founding Director of VIRTUS, IC Design Centre of Excellence at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, NTU.

He has published 9 books, 7 book chapters, over 600 international top-tier refereed journal and conference papers and holds 38 patents. Professor Yeo holds/held key positions in many international conferences as Advisor, General Chair, Co-General Chair and Technical Chair. He was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Bronze) on National Day 2009 by the President of the Republic of Singapore and the Nanyang Alumni Achievement Award in 2009 for his outstanding contributions to the university and society. Professor Yeo is an IEEE Fellow for his contributions to low-power integrated circuit design.

 


DR BICKY BHANGU
President, South East Asia, Pacific and South Korea 
Rolls-Royce

Bicky is responsible for the regional strategy, external relations and governance of the operations across the company’s key businesses – Civil Aerospace, Defence and Power Systems.

Bicky is Council Member for the Singapore National Employers Federation and Vice President of the Singapore Manufacturing Federation. Bicky also serves on the Board of Directors of the Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology. Until November 2019, Bicky had served as President of the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore over two terms.

Bicky is an Adjunct Professor at the Nanyang Technological University. He has a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nottingham, an MSc in Control Systems, PhD in Advanced Machines and Drives from the University of Sheffield and an MBA in Technology Management. He is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Engineering Technology and Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society.

 


MR NICHOLAS MA
CEO
Huawei International Pte Ltd 

Nicholas is the Chief Executive Officer of Huawei International since Dec 2018. He has held various positions at Huawei in different regions throughout his tenure with the company. He has 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.

Prior to his current role, he was the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Huawei Philippines from 2014 to 2018 (Nov). From 2011 to 2014, Mr Ma was the Vice President of Global Wireless Marketing & Solutions Sales Department in Huawei Headquarters in Shenzhen. From 2008 to 2011, he was the Head for Wireless Marketing & Solution Sales Dept. of Huawei India Region Office. Meanwhile he has attended and organized the important ICT projects in over 40 countries from 2005 to 2008.

MR LIM KING BOON
General Manager, Partnership, Innovation and Enterprise Office
Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD)

With over 25 years of distinctive service in the public sector, Mr Lim King Boon has accumulated diverse experience in a wide spectrum of disciplines including economic development, investment promotion, diplomacy, urban and sustainable development. His professional career spanned across the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and the Jurong Town Corporation (JTC). 

As General Manager of Partnership, Innovation and Enterprise at SUTD, Mr Lim assists the President of SUTD to strategize, formulate and drive the initiatives under the SUTD Growth Plan, focusing on research, innovation and entrepreneurial development in collaboration with industry partners.

 


DR JAMES ONG
Co-Founder
Artificial Intelligence Industrial Institute (AIII)

James has more than 30 years of experience from basic research, technology transfer to product development, startups and strategy consulting for Fortune 500 companies from US, Europe to Singapore and China. His digital transformation experience spans across multiple industry verticals across multiple generations of technology evolution including two generations of AI research boom and industrial adoption from 1980-90s to now.

He received his PhD in Management Information Systems from the University of Texas at Austin with doctorate thesis on Business Process Automation with AI. He has published more than 25 papers and has been featured as a speaker at major conferences and universities.

 


MR CHONG CHAN PIN
Executive Vice President & General Manager, Products & Solutions
Kulicke & Soffa Pte. Ltd.

Chan Pin is a technology industry veteran with more than 24 years of engineering and operations experience in the semiconductor and electronics industry.

He started his career first as a Process and Test Engineer at Motorola Pagers and Cellular group and pioneered multiple factories in Asia before advancing to the role of Manufacturing Manager at Flextronics. In 1999, Chan Pin joined KLA-Tencor and held a number of diverse positions, including Senior Technical Director of Engineering and General Manager of Strategic Business Unit in Greater China. Chan Pin then pioneered the efforts of starting the MEMS factory in Singapore when he became the Vice President of Sales and General Manager at Form Factor. Most recently, he was the Global President & CEO at Everett Charles Technologies, managing and leading in test and probe technologies.

Chan Pin received his bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom. A Singaporean national, he is a military reserve (National Service, NS) Brigade 2nd in Command of a combined arms division.

 


MR DYLAN NG
CEO & Co-Founder
LionsBot International Pte Ltd & SuperSteam Asia Pacific Pte Ltd

Dylan Ng, 44, is co-founder and CEO of SuperSteam Asia Pacific and LionsBot International. He is a graduate of Nanyang Technological University (NTU).

Together with his wife, they have built up SuperSteam from scratch to become Singapore’s leading professional cleaning equipment and chemicals supplier. They teamed up with Associate Professor Mohan Rajan Elara to co-found Lionsbot International. Ground-breaking professional cleaning robots that are engineered and manufactured in Singapore.

Dylan is a much sought-after speaker on professional cleaning technology and sales in many countries, including Sweden, China and UK. He is also serving on the governing council of Workforce Advancement Federation Ltd (WAF).

     


MR BRIAN SAN
Director, Career Agility Division, Strategy & Communications
NTUC LearningHub

Brian heads the Career Agility Division, as well as the Strategy and Communications Team. The Career Agility Division focuses on helping workers gain critical digital and workplace skills to improve their employability and adaptability, and to grow through lifelong learning. Brian is also responsible for developing longer term strategies, driving NTUC LearningHub’s brand and thought leadership initiatives, and managing media relations.

Brian holds a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
