What is GEXP?

  • Spend Term 6 at one of our partner universities worldwide
  • Grades received will not be counted towards CGPA
  • Earn credits for passed courses towards SUTD degree
  • Continue to pay tuition fees to SUTD while tuition fees at the host university is waived

GEXP Application

  • GEXP online application is open to all Term 4 students in September/October annually and students will be informed via email. Students will be invited to a GEXP information session prior to the online application. 
  • Students who decide to embark on SUTD's official summer internship must complete the whole 16 weeks of internship before embarking on GEXP.
  • Students should also consider whether they have sufficient financial means to cover the entire duration of GEXP.

Singapore Citizens with Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) will be able to utlize their PSEA for reimbursement of exchange-related expenses (such as airfare, VISA, accommodation, insurance and transport).
