We are pleased to share that Associate Professor Dorien Herremans, Assistant Professor Soujanya Poria, and their groups from ISTD have won the Super AI Leader (SAIL) Top 30 Award issued by the World Artificial Intelligence Conferences (WAIC), for their joint project ‘Mustango: controllable text-to-music’.

His paper named “Understanding the Capabilities and Limitations of Large Language Models for Cultural Commonsense”, won the award under the “Social Impact” category. The project was supported by MOE Tier-2 grant.

Associate Professor Desmond Loke, together with members from his lab including Dr Go Shao Xiang (SUTD PhD alumnus, Class of 2024) and Mr Lim Kian Guan, have won the TechConnect 2024 Global Innovation Award.
