Professor David Yau

David Yau obtained the BSc (first class honors) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), and MS and PhD from the University of Texas at Austin, all in computer science. Since 2013, he has been Professor in the Information Systems Technology and Design pillar of the Singapore University of Technology and Design. He served as Distinguished Scientist at the Advanced Digital Sciences Center, Singapore (a research center of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign), where he was also Cybersecurity Program Director. Prior to Singapore, he was Assistant Professor and then Associate Professor (Computer Science) at Purdue University (West Lafayette).
David is interested in different aspects of networked computing systems, including protocol design and implementation, security and privacy, quality of service (QoS), network incentives, and wireless sensor networks.

Jason Wong

Jason has over 15 years of experience in information security, IT operations, cybersecurity and project management. He currently oversees the Cybersecurity Oversight and ICT Governance at CAAS, leading regulatory oversight, policy development, and sector-wide resilience initiatives to safeguard Singapore’s aviation sector. Previously, he headed the national Singapore Cyber Emergency Response Team (SingCERT), where he managed critical cyber threats and incidents affecting Singapore’s cyberspace, spearheaded international collaborations and multi-agencies to bolster Singapore’s cybersecurity resilience.
Tan Beng Hwee

Beng Hwee leads three critical sections in the cybersecurity and data governance of CAAS, including the cybersecurity operations centre and incident response team. With extensive experience in cybersecurity, he specialises in swift threat detection, analysis and incident mitigation to safeguard organisational assets and data integrity.
