Overview
This course develops a systems-based understanding of coastal, ecological, and urban dynamics, enabling learners to interpret complex environmental data and spatial relationships. Participants will translate research and policy frameworks into applied design solutions for coastal protection and climate adaptation, while building practical competency in nature-based and hybrid infrastructure systems.
The course strengthens integrative master planning capabilities and cultivates adaptive, scalable design thinking for resilient architectural and infrastructural responses. Learners will also be equipped to collaborate effectively across architecture, urban design, engineering, landscape, and public-sector planning contexts.
