SUTD Associate Professor Wu Lin and alumna Jia Yifan have been featured in the Singapore 100 Women in Tech (SG100WIT) 2025 list.

Associate Prof Wu, from SUTD’s Science, Mathematics, and Technology (SMT) cluster, is an award-winning physicist, and international leader in nanophotonics and quantum technology.

“She has pioneered breakthroughs in quantum plasmonics, light–matter interactions, and computational nanophotonics. Her research, published in nearly 100 peer-reviewed publications and awarded with several patents, has not only expanded the frontiers of fundamental science but also unlocked real-world applications in sensing, optoelectronics, and photonic devices.”

Jia Yifan graduated from SUTD’s PhD (Information Systems Technology and Design) programme and undergraduate programme in Engineering Product Development (Class of 2015). Currently Founder and Chief Executive Officer of startup AIDX TECH, she is also an adjunct lecturer with SUTD Academy.

“Under her leadership, AIDX was the only firm selected with three projects in Singapore’s IMDA AI Assurance Pilot, further validating the platform’s importance.

Her startup helped Singapore launch its first generative AI safety lab in healthcare, when AIDX collaborated with Synapxe and Ministry of Health to ensure AI systems are ethical, safe, and are aligned with public interest.”

Honourees of the SG100WIT list demonstrate tech expertise, leadership and vision, and community advocacy. Celebrating and recognising achievements of inspirational women based in Singapore who made significant and impactful contributions to the tech industry, the list is organised by the Singapore Computer Society (SCS), in partnership with SG Women in Tech and Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA).
