Assistant Professor Nilanjan Raghunath has been selected as a Visiting Fellow at the University of Oxford from 12 October to 6 December 2025. During her fellowship, she will collaborate with leading scholars across disciplines on advancing research at the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and social capital.

Her work explores how AI reshapes social networks, economic opportunity, and institutional trust — offering new sociological insights into the future of work and human-AI collaboration. As part of her residency, Dr Raghunath will present her latest findings and engage in dialogues that bridge sociology, technology studies, and organisational research.
