Professor Tony Quek receives prestigious 2024 Wireless Communications Technical Committee (WTC) Recognition Award

For his significant contributions to both the theoretical and applied aspects of communication theory and wireless networking, Professor Tony Quek has been awarded the 2024 IEEE Wireless Communications Technical Committee (WTC) Recognition Award.
Professor Quek is Director of the Future Communications Research & Development Programme (FCP), Head of the Information Systems Technology and Design (ISTD) pillar and the Cheng Tsang Man Chair Professor at SUTD.
The WTC Recognition Award honours individuals with high degrees of visibility and contributions to the field of “Wireless and Mobile Communications Theory, Systems, and Networks” and is conferred to no more than two recipients globally each year. This is a true testament to Prof Quek’s leadership, dedication and impact on elevating the field of wireless and mobile communication.
