Professor Yow Wei Quin elected Fellow of the Gerontological Society of America
We are pleased to announce that Professor Yow Wei Quin has been elected a Fellow of the Gerontological Society of America (FGSA).
Professor Yow, who serves as the Head of the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (HASS) cluster and Programme Director for the Design and Artificial Intelligence (DAI) programme, has been recognized with one of the highest honors for contributions to the study of aging.
The Gerontological Society of America (GSA) is the world’s oldest and largest interdisciplinary organisation dedicated to research, education, and practice in the field of ageing. Fellow status is one of the Society’s highest honours, recognising scholars who have made outstanding and sustained contributions to advancing gerontology.
Professor Yow’s research has made significant strides in understanding aging, cognition, and overall wellbeing, generating crucial insights that support healthier aging and the development of more inclusive communities. This prestigious international recognition reflects the profound global impact of both her scholarship and her ongoing leadership in the field.
