Design Science
Design Science is a research-driven field dedicated to understanding and improving the design process. This course applies the scientific method to analyse design activities and systematically develop and evaluate new design methods.
Human Behaviour, Technology and Design
This course provides an exploration of the interplay between human behaviour, technology and design. By studying methods from cognitive science, behavioural science, social psychology, and human-computer interaction, students will learn how technology and design interact with, and may change, human behaviour.
Materials and Manufacturing Processes Selection in Design
Be equipped with broad understanding of materials and manufacturing processes essential for engineering product design. Participants will gain insights into the nature and characteristics of key material categories, their practical applications and the corresponding manufacturing techniques suited to each type.
