Bo Rui Foundation – SUTD Bursary Award

Eligibility

• Full-time undergraduate students enrolled in any year of study and in any degree programme at the University
• All nationalities, with preference given to Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
• Good moral character and community spirit
• Demonstrated financial need with monthly household Per Capita Income of ≤S$2,500

Benefits of award

• Each Award is valued at $7,500 per academic year and shall be applied towards the payment of annual tuition fees and study-related expenses.
• No bond attached

Tenure

Each Award is tenable for 1 academic year.

Things to note

Recipients must have taken up the Tuition Grant Scheme by the Singapore Government. This is automatically done upon completion of the Tuition Grant Declaration Form during enrolment at the University.

Bo Rui Foundation (the Foundation) is a donor-advised fund, administered and managed by the Community Foundation of Singapore. Bo Rui Foundation is dedicated to supporting various communities in need, focusing on promoting social well-being and educational opportunities, hence the support to SUTD and also to SIT where deserving students get the helping hand to access quality education regardless of their financial backgrounds. Additionally, as part of their giving journey, the Foundation also supports the St Andrew’s Autism Centre (SAAC), which serves elderly individuals in need of assistance and The Hut helping less privileged families. Through these efforts, the Foundation strives to make a positive and lasting impact.
