Singapore Leong Khay Huay Kuan Bursary

The Singapore Leong Khay Huay Kuan Bursary seeks to provide financial assistance to deserving undergraduates at SUTD.
Eligibility
  • Open to Singapore Citizens (SC) only
  • Full-time undergraduates in any year of study pursuing any degree programme at SUTD
  • Demonstrated financial need with monthly household Per Capita Income of S$2,500 and less

Special consideration will be given to candidates of the Chinese Hokkien dialect group.

Benefits of award
  • Each Award is valued at S$3,000 per academic year and shall be applied towards the payment of tuition fees only/tuition fees and study-related expenses.
  • No bond attached
Tenure

Each Award is tenable for 1 academic year.

Things to note

Recipients must have taken up the Tuition Grant Scheme by the Singapore Government. This is automatically done upon completion of the Tuition Grant Declaration Form during enrolment at the University.

Established in 1939, the Singapore Leong Khay Huay Kuan (新加坡龙溪会馆) is a more than 200-member clan association with its roots traced to China’s Fujian province. The Huay Kuan aims to preserve the Chinese language and culture, and promote education and social welfare, benefitting the Hokkien community in Singapore and the Singapore society at large.
