The MCF – L Solomon Lodge Wandailan Hardship Grant

The MCF – L Solomon Lodge Wandailan Hardship Grant is established to provide financial assistance to deserving undergraduates in need who fall on hard times due to emergency and unplanned hardship circumstances.
Eligibility
  • Singapore Citizen
  • Full-time undergraduate students of the University in any year of study and enrolled in any undergraduate degree programme
  • Demonstrated financial need, with monthly Per Income Capita (PCI) within the latest limit set by the Ministry of Education
  • Active in Fifth Row and community service involvement (preferably)
  • Met with an unexpected change in life circumstances, for which urgent financial support is needed
Benefits of award
  • The value of each award will be commensurate with the recipient’s level of financial need and shall be applied to tuition fees and study-related expenses.
  • The award is tenable for 1 academic year.
  • There is no bond to be fulfilled towards the donor.
Terms & conditions
  1. The recipient may not, without the approval of the University, hold concurrently any other scholarships or grants.
  2. The recipient must have taken up the Tuition Grant Scheme by the Singapore Government during enrolment. Read more on the Tuition Grant Scheme here.

The Masonic Charitable Fund (MCF) was approved by Singapore Ministry of Education as an Educational Charity on 29 November 2019.

 

This fund is aimed at providing educational assistance to deserving Singapore beneficiaries comprising Singaporeans and permanent residents.
