Azimuth Labs – SUTD Scholarship CSD
The Azimuth Labs – SUTD Scholarship CSD was established to promote meritocratic access to education and provide opportunities to outstanding students intending to pursue their studies in the Computer Science and Design (CSD) programme in AY2023 and AY2025.
Eligibility
- Full-time Freshmore undergraduate students who intend to major in Computer Science and Design
- Are Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
- Have good academic standing
- Possess leadership potential, integrity, good character and moral values
- Preference to (but not limited to) students whose monthly household Per Capita Income is not more than S$2,500
- Preference to (but not limited to) students who are active in Fifth Row activities and the community
Benefits of award
- The Scholarship is valued at S$15,000 per academic year for up to 4 academic years, and shall be applied towards the payment of tuition fees and study-related expenses.
- There is no bond to be fulfilled towards the donor.
Terms & conditions
- The recipient may not, without the approval of the University, hold concurrently any other scholarships or grants.
- If the recipient decides to terminate the scholarship prematurely, SUTD reserves the right to impose a repayment on a case-by-case basis.
- The recipient is required to achieve and maintain good academic standing. Academic performance will be reviewed every term. The Scholarship may be withdrawn at any time if, in the opinion of SUTD, the recipient’s academic progress or conduct is deemed unsatisfactory.
- The recipient must have taken up the Tuition Grant Scheme by the Singapore Government during enrolment. Read more on the Tuition Grant Scheme here.
Application procedure
- Interested incoming students should apply for the Scholarship when applying for admission to SUTD in AY2023 and AY2025.
- Shortlisted applicants will be notified in due course.
- Late and incomplete submissions will not be processed.
- Scholarships are awarded on the basis of competition among eligible applicants.
- SUTD reserves the right not to award any Scholarship if there are no candidates of sufficient merit. The decision of the selection committee is final. Enquiries or disputes surrounding its decisions will not be entertained.
