Expand learning beyond the classroom and into the region
The SUTD Global Exploration Opportunities (GEO) programme extends learning beyond the classroom into the region, providing exciting opportunities for exploration and growth across Asia. SUTD currently partners with 12 host universities across Asia, providing short-term experiences that enrich your academic journey and expand your personal and professional network.
Our immersion programmes are designed to foster well-rounded student development, focusing on key areas: innovation & entrepreneurship, sustainability, and academic mastery tied to Design and AI. These programmes aim to nurture students as design innovators, equipping them to apply what they learn to solve real-world challenges.

- Attend the GEO info session in April or September
- Apply for the programme of your choice

Under the guidance of 2 HCLTech engineers, students designed a solar power system for Kampung Terban’s 775 residents, generating electricity for water pumps and wastewater treatment.

The programme not only broadened my academic horizons but also instilled a profound appreciation for the transformative potential of merging education with hands-on, community-oriented initiatives.

My week-long trip to Chongqing University was an eye-opening journey into wireless energy transfer and machine learning. This experience has solidified my aspiration to pursue a career in the field of machine learning.
