Prof Jianying Zhou

Prof Jianying Zhou received PhD in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London. He has rich career experiences, having worked in research institutes, industry, and universities in different countries (China, USA and Singapore). Before joining SUTD, he was a principal scientist and the head of Infocomm Security Department at Institute for Infocomm Research, A*STAR. He was a security consultant at the headquarters of Oracle Corporation.
He worked at Kent Ridge Digital Labs as a project manager and in National University of Singapore as a post-doctoral fellow. He also worked in Chinese Academy of Sciences as a research engineer.
Prof David Yau

David Yau obtained the BSc (first class honors) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), and MS and PhD from the University of Texas at Austin, all in computer science. Since 2013, he has been Professor in the Information Systems Technology and Design pillar of the Singapore University of Technology and Design. He served as Distinguished Scientist at the Advanced Digital Sciences Center, Singapore (a research center of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign), where he was also Cybersecurity Program Director. Prior to Singapore, he was Assistant Professor and then Associate Professor (Computer Science) at Purdue University (West Lafayette).
David is interested in different aspects of networked computing systems, including protocol design and implementation, security and privacy, quality of service (QoS), network incentives, and wireless sensor networks.
