Victor Jiun-Wen Keong is a Senior Lecturer in the ISTD Pillar at SUTD. Victor has been a cybersecurity and AI governance leader with over 30 years of global experience across Asia Pacific and North America. He brings deep industry perspective to SUTD through senior leadership roles spanning professional services, global technology providers, and board-level advisory work. He has advised Fortune 500 organisations, regulators, and critical infrastructure leaders on cybersecurity transformation, AI risk, and digital trust.
At SUTD, Victor focuses on advancing practical, real-world outcomes at the intersection of AI and cybersecurity, including adversarial robustness, privacy-preserving technologies, trusted data foundations, and resilient systems that can operate safely in complex, high-stakes environments such as digital health.

Kwan Hui Lim
Fellow, SUTD Academy
Assistant Professor at SUTD
Kwan Hui LIM is an Assistant Professor at the Information Systems Technology and Design Pillar, Singapore University of Technology and Design, and leads the Social and Urban Analytics Lab. Previously, he was a Research Fellow at the School of Computing and Information Systems, University of Melbourne, Research Engineer at the Living Analytics Research Centre, Singapore Management University, Research Intern at IBM Research – Australia, and various visiting appointments. He received his PhD from the University of Melbourne, and MSc (Research) and BCompSci (1st Class Honours) from the University of Western Australia.
He is a recipient of the 2016 Google PhD Fellowship in Machine Learning. His research interests are in Data Mining, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Social Network Analysis, and Social Computing.
Thia Wei Soon

Wei Soon has more than ten years of experience working in the manufacturing and IT sectors. He worked as a data scientist using data analytics and machine learning to deliver actionable insights and drive strategic marketing initiatives. In recent years, as a technology consultant, he successfully helped clients to streamline enterprise operations and achieved cost saving through the adoption of robotic process automation.
Wei Soon has a Master of IT in Business Artificial Intelligence from Singapore Management of University and a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University. He is proficient with tools such as Tableau, Jupyter, RStudio, MS Visual Studio, Automation Anywhere, UiPath, and programming languages such as Python, R, C#, HTML5, and JavaScript.
