Castomize, a spin-off of SUTD, has come up with a cast for fractured bones using 4D-printing that conforms to a patient’s limb and becomes rigid after cooling down to provide the required support. This patented 4D-printing core technology allows the cast to be reshaped according to how the bone is healing.

The round included participation from global investment firm Franklin Templeton, VC firms Xcel Next and Entrepreneur First, information technology and data services firm Bon Auxilium, the Singapore University of Technology and Design, startup incubator Tenity, and innovation platform Plug and Play.
