Are you ready to fuel your curiosity, spark your creativity, and bring your ideas to life?
Welcome to the StartSomething Series—a vibrant, immersive program designed specifically for SUTD students eager to explore the world of innovation and cultivate an x-trepreneurial mindset.
Whether you have a seasoned innovator or you’re simply curious about what it means to “think like an entrepreneur,” this is your invitation to step into a dynamic community where big dreams are transformed into bold action.
StartSomething isn’t just for aspiring entrepreneurs, but also for innovators who are eager to deliver impact in large organisations or research. We call that “x-trepreneurship”!
Why StartSomething?
Innovation isn’t just for a select few—it’s a way of seeing the world, asking questions, and daring to imagine what could be. The StartSomething Series was created for inquisitive participants who wish to explore new perspectives and are motivated to make an impact.
We believe that every participant has the potential to become a change-maker, and our series provides the guidance, inspiration, and hands-on experience needed to tap into that potential. Participants can look forward to the following across the three-part program:
- Discover your creative confidence. Learn how to generate, develop, and communicate innovative ideas that matter.
- Build essential skills. From critical thinking and problem-solving to teamwork and leadership, our workshops and events are designed to empower you.
- Connect with mentors and peers. Join a supportive network of student innovators, faculty experts, and successful entrepreneurs who can guide and inspire you.
- Transform your mindset. Embrace the entrepreneurial spirit—resilience, adaptability, and vision—that will serve you in any field.
Who Should Join?
The StartSomething Series is open to all SUTD students from any discipline. You don’t need a business background or a fully-formed idea—just curiosity, enthusiasm, and a desire to learn. Whether you want to launch a startup, create social impact, or simply expand your horizons, this series is your first step.
