Highlights

SUTD President Professor Phoon Kok Kwang, as well as Prof Tony Quek (Head of ISTD), Prof Yang Hui Ying (EPD), Assoc Prof Soujanya Poria (ISTD), and Assistant Prof Xiong Zehui (ISTD), are also named Highly Ranked Scholar based on prior five-year activity.

The prestigious list, as compiled by Stanford University, is based on the bibliometric information in the Scopus database and includes more than 220,000 researchers from across the globe, classified into 22 scientific fields and 174 subfields.

Team FEAMurs – comprising of CSD, ESD and Freshmore students won third prize in the university track at Dell InnovateFest 2024 held at the National Gallery Singapore and graced by Singapore’s Minister for Health, Ong Ye Kung.

Powered by the existing SITA Flex solution, the Singapore University of Technology and Design’s innovative lab-based offsite passenger processing solutions aim to enhance global air passenger experience in the future.

Fifty-nine students from SUTD spent five days in March collaborating with various Temasek employees to find solutions for 19 problem statements posed by the global investment company.

Every single SUTD graduate from our undergraduate degree programmes is now recognised as being “design-trained”. This marks the first time all degrees in a university worldwide have been design accredited.
