“Housing Complex/Complex Housing” – Urban Residential High-Rise Typology for Social Cohesion and Demographic Resilience

Case-study and design research on high-rise typology as conglomerate of three abstract spatial systems: circulation system, urban interface and unit bundle – as essential domains for vertical communality and demographic resilience.   Generalizing the underlying principles as part of overarching design matrix aims.   Aiming to contribute to a new understanding of residential high-rise typology, with socially sensitive types for high-density housing that are able to foster social cohesion and to adapt to shifting demographics.
