About the book
Many cities across the world continue to grapple with longstanding urban challenges even as new ones appear. With each crisis, cities address perennial issues (e.g. decentralization of urban cores and revitalising the city centre), as well as nascent, emergent ones (work-life balance, digitization of socio-economy) with a greater sense of urgency. Contributors to the edited volume represent a wide spectrum of the social sciences and urban planning fields. They adopt a multidisciplinary approach to signpost future pathways of cities, drawing on the experiences of the city-state of Singapore.
This event is by invitation only.
