SUTD Competitive Programming Contest 2026

The SUTD Competitive Programming Contest (SUTDcpc) was successfully organised on 4 July 2026 by members of the SUTD CPC Team: Clayton Luther Young (Freshmore year student), Rupert Hokada (Freshmore year student), and Nathan Keith Poernama (Senior year student, ISTD Pillar).

The competition was supported by the Information Systems Technology and Design (ISTD) Pillar, with faculty Dileepa Fernando serving as staff advisor and Oka Kurniawan as problem moderator.

A total of 62 undergraduate students across 36 teams participated in the contest, tackling nine programming challenges within a 90-minute competition window. The event provided students with an opportunity to test their problem-solving, algorithmic thinking, and coding skills in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Outstanding teams were recognised through a tiered award structure comprising one Gold, two Silver, and three Bronze awards, with winners sharing a cash prize pool of S$1,000. In addition, special awards were presented to the first solver of each problem and the best-performing Freshmore team.

Building on the success of this inaugural edition, the student organisers are exploring plans to expand SUTDcpc next year, with the aim of engaging a larger pool of participants and further strengthening SUTD’s competitive programming community.
