Keeping young users safe from harmful content on social media remains a key priority for the government. The Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA)’s second Online Safety Assessment Report aims to help Singaporeans make more informed decisions by highlighting the risks and safety measures across major platforms.

SUTD Associate Professor Roy Lee (ISTD) shared his views on how these platforms have improved in addressing safety gaps between 2024 and 2025.
