The Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh (UEH) on 17 July 2024 during the 2nd International Conference on Resilience by Technology and Design to collaborate in interdisciplinary and sustainable urban development research and education.

At the Opening Plenary of the recently-concluded World Cities Summit 2024, Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat, spoke about how the Lee Kuan Yew Centre for Innovative Cities (LKYCIC) at SUTD was undertaking research on ageing urbanism – to better understand older residents’ needs, and work with partners to develop innovative designs and solutions to meet these needs.

The Lee Kuan Yew Centre for Innovative Cities (LKYCIC) launched its latest book “The City Rebooted: Networks, Connectivity and Place Identities in Singapore”, edited by Prof Chan Heng Chee, SUTD Honorary Professor, and Dr Harvey Neo, Professorial Research Fellow at LKYCIC.
