(Translated title and summary)

SUTD Master of Innovation by Design student Harrjeeth Senthil Kumar and his team developed ‘Zennah’, a generative AI platform that allows users to design custom jewellery.

By entering desired features, users receive 3D jewellery designs within seconds that can be downloaded and manufactured. Harrjeeth aims to assist jewellers, enabling them to provide customers with personalised designs.

Inspired by designing custom shoes for his late grandmother who was paralysed, Harrjeeth found jewellery design more amenable to automation. The team, including SUTD student Manav Viran Amrutiya and Generative AI engineer Sandeep Kumar Patra, received $6,000 in funding from SUTD’s Baby Shark programme and plans to train their model with a million designs obtained from jewellery designers. They also plan to include an option for designers to submit images of their own designs to the platform to obtain designs more customised to their style, as well as an option to share their preferences and journeys through voice prompts.
