Elevation to IEEE Fellow 2021

EPD Pillar would like to extend its warmest congratulations to Associate Professor Yuen Chau, for his elevation to IEEE Fellow, effective 1 January 2021.

Assoc. Prof Yuen Chau is recognised for his contributions in the field of energy-efficient wireless communications.

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is the world’s largest technical professional organisation dedicated to the advancement of technology, with more than 423,000 members in over 160 countries.

The IEEE Fellow is a distinction reserved for IEEE members whose extraordinary accomplishments in any IEEE fields of interest are deemed fitting of this prestigious grade elevation.

Each year, following a rigorous evaluation procedure, the IEEE Fellow Committee recommends a select group of recipients for elevation to IEEE Fellow. Less than 0.1% of voting members are selected annually for member grade elevation.
