Eric has made higher education his calling and during this time, had the opportunity to experience a variety of portfolios, ranging from research support, student development, crisis management, and up until recently, academic governance. He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Queensland, Australia. He believes in the value of education as a leveler in society, and research as a way of finding out how to advance knowledge and improve our lives.
