Biography

Buse Unluturk received a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Middle East Technical University in 2019, and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Koc University in 2021. She completed their PhD in Engineering Systems and Design (ESD) at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) in 2025.

Currently, Buse is a Research Fellow at ESD in SUTD, where she joined in December 2025. Their research focuses on online learning and sequential decision making, data-driven optimization in uncertain environments, operations management and distributionally robust optimisation with submodular structures.
