Biography

Grace Boey is a Senior Lecturer in Philosophy. She is an ethicist and epistemologist with teaching specialties in applied ethics, social epistemology, and value theory. Amongst other things, she is currently interested in the question of how various AI technologies affect our autonomy and other moral, epistemic, and human capacities and competencies. She is also interested in pedagogical and institutional methods for promoting epistemic justice in higher education.

Prior to joining SUTD, she was a faculty member of the School of Humanities at Nanyang Technological University. She obtained her PhD in Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania (2020) and MA in Philosophy from New York University (2014).
