As Accenture’s Lead for Growth AI, Center for Advanced AI based in New York, Joon Seong drives AI-led reinvention for clients leveraging Advanced AI technologies such as Gen AI and Agentic AI. He is responsible for scaling Accenture’s advanced AI talent, developing differentiating AI propositions, and establishing ecosystem partnerships in this area. He is also a member of Accenture’s Global Leadership Council.

Before his role in New York, Joon Seong was based in Singapore, where he led Accenture’s Center for Advanced AI for the APAC region and the Data & AI business in Southeast Asia. He also served on the Southeast Asia Executive Committee and the APAC/Growth Markets Operating Committee.

Over the years, he has spearheaded award-winning, multi-year data & AI transformations at several leading enterprises in Asia. Notably, he championed the world’s first responsible AI initiative at the Monetary Authority of Singapore. He also spearheaded the launch of the first Gen AI Studio and AI Refinery Engineering Hub in Singapore, with support from Singapore’s Economic Development Board.

He has significantly contributed to Singapore’s technology development, serving as Vice President of the Singapore Computer Society (SCS) AI & Robotics Chapter. He co-authored the inaugural AI Ethics & Governance Body of Knowledge, sponsored by SCS and Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA). Additionally, he is among the first certified experts in AI Ethics & Governance in Singapore and a member of the SCS’ AI Ethics and Governance Evaluation Board. He is also a Board Member of iShine Cloud Limited. In recognition of his long-standing contributions to Singapore’s tech industry, SCS conferred the Fellow title upon him in 2024.

He holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD and received his AI training from MIT and the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI).
