Biography
Fuxi is a doctoral candidate in the Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (HASS) pillar at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). She is a member of the SUTD Language and Social Cognition Lab under the guidance of Professor Yow Wei Quin. Her research interests lie in exploring human-computer interaction (HCI) and user experience design (UX) within the healthcare field, particularly in the positive aging domain, and she is passionate about interdisciplinary collaboration. Her work seeks to design innovative and human-centred solutions to enhance early diagnosis and provide effective, personalized interventions aimed at delaying and slowing down cognitive decline in the elderly.

Research Topic
Fuxi’s current PhD research explores how digital technologies, particularly artificial intelligence (AI), can be harnessed to improve the detection and intervention of cognitive impairments in the elderly, such as mild cognitive impairments (MCI) and dementia.
