Biography 

Zann Koh is a Research Fellow at the Lee Kuan Yew Centre for Innovative Cities (LKYCIC). Their research interests lie in data analytics and human mobility, with a focus on developing systematic approaches to uncovering meaningful patterns and insights from complex datasets.

She earned her PhD in Engineering Product Development from the Singapore University of Technology and Design in 2023. Prior to joining LKYCIC, she contributed to a large-scale project investigating Singapore’s outdoor recreational spaces, focusing on the analysis of real-world mobility data collected from park visitors.

Her doctoral research focused on the development of frameworks and approaches for analysing mobility patterns in real-world datasets. Her work explored techniques for feature engineering and the application of existing machine learning algorithms to support the extraction and interpretation of insights from mobility data.

She is supporting Belinda and team on the “Urban Innovation and Transformation Study of LKY World City Prize Network Cities: Benchmarks, Case Studies and Trends” project.
