Curriculum
A structured and coherent academic journey
MSc DAI-E is carefully organised to ensure progressive learning, deep technical development, and sustained industry engagement.
Students follow the same rigorous curriculum whether enrolled in the full-time or part-time pathway. The difference lies only in pacing and scheduling.
Full-time pathway (1 year)
Designed for students who wish to immerse themselves fully in the programme.
Duration: 1 year (3 academic terms)
Format: Daytime classes, possibly evening classes.
Courses: 9 graduate-level courses (6 core courses, 3 electives from our specialty tracks)
Studio projects: Integrated year-long MSc DAI-E Studio experience
Throughout the year, students progressively deepen technical expertise while advancing their Studio project in parallel.
Part-time pathway (2 years)
Designed for working professionals who wish to continue full-time employment while studying.
Duration: 2 years (6 academic terms)
Format: Evening classes
Courses: 9 graduate-level courses (6 core courses, 3 electives from our specialty tracks) — identical to the full-time pathway in content
Studio projects: Integrated year-long MSc DAI-E Studio experience.
The academic content, standards, and degree awarded are the same as the full-time programme. The pacing is adjusted to allow sustainable progression alongside professional commitments.
Where appropriate, part-time students may host Studio projects within your employer’s organisation, subject to approval.
