Criteria for admission
There is one intake for the MTD (Cybersecurity) programme each year in September.
Applicants should possess the following:
- A bachelor’s degree in technology, including degrees in Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences, OR in other related disciplines with two years of ICT industry experience;
- Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, C/C++ or Python (or other modern programming languages);
- Students whose language of instruction during undergraduate study is not English are required to present TOEFL-iBT (min. 85) or IELTS (min. 6.0) score report;
- Interested candidates with undergraduate degrees in an unrelated discipline may be considered on a case-by-case basis*;
- Related job experiences will be considered for admission.
Note: TOEFL / IELTS scores are valid for two years from the test date and should not have expired at the point of application. Expired scores will not be considered for the application.
*Applicants without a relevant degree can submit a portfolio highlighting their skills, abilities and experiences to augment their application.
All applications will be reviewed by the MTD admissions committee.

All applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of S$21.80 (inclusive of prevailing Goods & Services Tax).
