Launch of Artificial Intelligence Management Systems Accreditation Programme

Assistant Professor Jeffrey Chan is a member of the Artificial Intelligence Technical Committee (AITC), which contributed to the launch of SS ISO/IEC 42001:2024 standard on 17 February 2025. The SS ISO/IEC 42001:2024, based on the international standard for the broad responsible adoption of AI, was developed and applicable to the Singapore context.

AITC was established to recommend the adoption of relevant international AI standards for Singapore, support the development of new AI standards where necessary or applicable, and promote awareness of AI standards. The Committee represents Singapore as a “Participating” member in ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 42 on “Artificial Intelligence”.
