Low Hong Yee - SUTD Faculty, Associate Professor (Engineering Product Development) 1 of the 3 winners in the 2010 L'oreal for Women in Science Fellowship, Hong Yee researches in the field of biomimicry at the nano level. She has also been an inspiration at TEDxSingaporeWomen previously as one of the speakers. Jezamine Chua - SUTD Alumnus (Architecture and Sustainable Design) Well respected and liked by the SUTD community for her contributions to SUTD through numerous internal and external projects, Jezamine is a deeply passionate individual who continues to inspire the community as a Alumnus from the Architecture and Sustainable Design (ASD) pillar. Guided by instructors from the SUTD-MIT International Design Centre, you will experience SUTD's design-thinking process through a design workshop, where you will work in teams to create solutions to tackle real world problems. You will learn how to effectively generate and evaluate ideas and prototype your solution while having great fun at the same time! The theme of the workshop will be Issues Faced by Cities, which will explore the following (but not limited to): Education Energy and environment Housing Infrastructure Public safety Transportation
