Achievements

Two of our postgraduates, Aw Jia Zhi Billy (EPD Master’s student) and Ouyang Fuxi (HASS PhD student), have been listed as winners for the Seed Award 2025 awarded by Design Business Chamber Singapore (DBCS).

SOAR’s competitive robotics team (SCRT) reached the semi-finals and won the Amaze Award — an award for consistently high-performing and competitive robot.

ESD PhD alumnus Wayne Ng, current PhD student Marcus Koh and Assistant Prof Nuno Ribeiro were awarded by the Air Transportation Section at the INFORMS Annual Meeting.

This marks a significant milestone—the first-ever external and public showcase of our Term 2 students’ works from the Design Thinking and Innovation course.

A team of CSD juniors clinched the top spot in the competitive category of CODE_EXP at the event organised by Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA).

The team of CSD and DAI students were amongst the winners at the SuperAI NEXT Hackathon with their project, DripSeek.

CSD and STEP student Rachel Lim received the Future Leader in Tech Award by the Singapore Computer Society (SCS).
