Achievements

Two of our postgraduates, Aw Jia Zhi Billy (EPD Master’s student) and Ouyang Fuxi (HASS PhD student), have been listed as winners for the Seed Award 2025 awarded by Design Business Chamber Singapore (DBCS).

SOAR’s competitive robotics team (SCRT) reached the semi-finals and won the Amaze Award — an award for consistently high-performing and competitive robot.

ESD PhD alumnus Wayne Ng, current PhD student Marcus Koh and Assistant Prof Nuno Ribeiro were awarded by the Air Transportation Section at the INFORMS Annual Meeting.

NSBEHacks is the first student-run hackathon hosted by the NSBE UofT Chapter and is dedicated to the experiences of Black individuals in technology and engineering.
