Overview
Artificial intelligence (AI) is the most significant digital transformation in history. Our Singapore government is encouraging and helping its citizens to embrace AI. At the same time, Singapore is also world leader in AI governance. Infocom Media Development Authority (IMDA) in 2019 published the “Model AI Governance Framework 1.0” at the World Economic Forum (WEF) and in 2026 WEF published the “Model AI governance framework in Agentic AI”. While there are many courses on how to use AI, there are few, if any, courses in AI governance and its responsible use. This internationally recognised certification program in AI governance fits very well with the Singapore government’s vision to have both innovative and responsible use of AI.
This course offers a pathway to a privacy cum AI governance career, an essential role in the AI era. It is designed for professionals responsible for ensuring that AI systems meet legal and ethical standards. This certification delivers a comprehensive understanding of the AI Act, supports the development of trustworthy and ethical AI, and illustrates how to apply AI regulations in practical situations.

Minimum requirements
