Digitalisation & Everyday Life Activities Exhibition

Visit us at the “Digitalisation & Everyday Life Activities” exhibition where we explore how digitalisation shapes the everyday lives of older adults in Singapore’s Outram Planning Area, featuring real stories, photographs, and voices from older residents — reflecting their experiences with technology, from the conveniences it brings to the challenges it creates.

  • Date/Time: 8 & 9 May 2026, 10AM to 8PM
  • Venue: JiaYou Centre @Chinatown Point (133 New Bridge Rd, #04-01 to #04-11 Chinatown Point, Singapore 059413)

As Singapore advances towards becoming a smart nation with a rapidly ageing population, the intersection of ageing, digitalisation, and artificial intelligence (AI) presents unique challenges and opportunities. This research explores the gendered dimensions of ageing in an increasingly digital society, focusing on how older men and women in Singapore experience and adapt to technological acceleration, particularly AI in daily life. The project interrogates gender disparities in digital literacy, especially AI literacy, access to technology, and the impact of digitalisation on social inclusion and overall well-being.
