The Pursuit of Riding: Unravelling Motorcycle Ownership in Singapore

Even as Singapore pursues its car-lite and Walk-Cycle-Ride vision, the demand for private motorcycle ownership has been on the rise. This project seeks to understand the underlying motivations and considerations that individuals have when choosing to ride private motorcycles in Singapore (i.e., including decisions to own, lease, or hire motorcycles in Singapore). The findings will contribute towards effective policy formulation for managing private motorcycle demand.
