IEEE MRS 2025

Call for Late-Breaking Results

We invite submissions of Late-Breaking Results (LBR) posters for IEEE MRS’25. This session is intended to provide a venue for sharing newly emerging results, early insights, ongoing experiments, or preliminary findings that are not (yet) mature enough for full papers, but which may benefit from early feedback from the community.

Submission format & process
  • Submit an extended abstract of up to two pages (including references) in PDF format, prepared on US letter size paper using the IEEE two-column conference template.
  • The extended abstract should clearly present the motivation, problem statement, methodology, preliminary results, and main take-home messages.
  • The LBR committee will perform a light review for relevance, clarity, and fit with conference scope (not full peer review).
  • Authors of accepted submissions must ensure that one of the authors is registered for IEEE MRS’25 and present a poster in person during the LBR session (the poster format will be announced).

Please note: these contributions are not peer-reviewed in the same sense as full papers and will not appear in the formal conference proceedings or IEEE Xplore.
