Criteria for admission
There is one intake for the MTD (AI and Technology in Education) programme each year in September.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline;
- Interested candidates with undergraduate degrees in an unrelated discipline may be considered on a case-by-case basis*;
- Proficient in Mandarin, both written and spoken;
- Related job experience will be considered for admission.
This MTD programme is open to:
- Educators, curriculum designers, education administrators, EdTech professionals, education technologists, and corporate trainers in ASEAN countries and mainland China, who hold a university degree and have a strong passion for teaching at the middle school, high school, university, or continuing education levels.
- Individuals seeking to develop expertise in creating and implementing technology-driven pedagogical tools.
Candidates should have a solid foundation in education and a keen interest in integrating AI and technology into their teaching practices. A demonstrated passion for improving educational outcomes and advancing the use of technology in education is essential.
*Applicants without a relevant degree can submit a portfolio highlighting their skills, abilities and experiences to augment their application.
