Criteria for admission
There is one intake for the MTD (Sustainable Urban Design) programme each year in September.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the built environment;
- Interested candidates with undergraduate degrees in an unrelated discipline may be considered on a case-by-case basis;
- Students whose language of instruction during undergraduate study is not English are required to present TOEFL-iBT (min. 85) and IELTS Academic (min. 6.0)*;
- Related (capstone) projects and job experience will be considered for admission.
*Note: TOEFL/IELTS scores are valid for two years from the test date and should not have expired at the point of application. Expired scores will not be considered for the application.
Applicants are requested to submit a portfolio that highlights relevant (capstone) projects, demonstrating your skills, abilities, and experiences to support your application.
All applications will be reviewed by the MTD admissions committee.
