SUTD Community Grant

The SUTD Community Grant introduced in AY2020, is to help students who do not receive a scholarship or qualify for financial aid, defray the costs of an SUTD education.


  • Open to Singapore Citizens (SC) only
  • Must not hold any form of financial aid or scholarship
  • Incoming full-time undergraduates enrolling between AY2022 and AY2025, including students who accepted the admission offer earlier on
  • NS-liable males applying and accepting the admission offer for enrolment in AY2022 to AY2025
  • Existing full-time undergraduates in any year of study


The grant is tenable for up to 8 academic terms of undergraduate studies, provided that the student continues to meet the eligibility criteria.

Existing students will receive grants for the remaining terms of their candidature (starting from May 2020).

Benefits of Award

The grant is a fixed sum of S$1,500 per academic term, to be used to offset tuition fees only.


Students need not submit applications for this grant. Eligible students will be notified via email.
